This is two 1963 Fordson Super Dexta's coupled together similar to the famous Doe Triple D but using the same steering principle as a dumper, which works extremely well. The combined unit has around 88 bhp and is good for ploughing hilly and difficult terrain.
Pictures were taken at The All Welsh Ploughing Competition.
This is a Fordson Super Dexta fitted with a modified Landrover Salisbury front axle, 'all grip traction' chain drive transfer box, rear wheels fitted to the front, Perkins 4203 diesel engine and hydrostatic steering.
Although only 2wd, this Grey Fergy boasts a 160 bhp
Perkins 6354 turbo charged six cylinder diesel - huge pulling power for
this small tractor!
This is a Fordson Super Dexta fitted with a modified Landrover front axle, 'all grip traction' chain drive transfer box and a perkins P6 diesel engine.
Andy also has a passion for classic cars, particularly high performance ones! This is a Mk1 Ford Capri that started out life as a humble 2.0 Litre GT XLR that now boasts a 4.2 Jaguar XK E Type engine pumping out 285 BHP and 300 lbs/ft of torque! This was completely rebuilt with hand crafted steel Cologne arches and a complete replacement box tube chassis including space frame front end to provide a very rigid shell. The suspension was hugely improved with Coilover struts, Caprisport discs & calipers, 2.8 injection antiroll bar, 2.8i rear axle with LSD & disc conversion, 2.8i single leaves & antiroll bar, anti tramp bars under the axle, panhard rod and Bilstein shocks all rolling on Compomotive BBS
replicas - 10 x 16 rear and 9 x 16 front replacing the ROstyles shown in the pictures.
